I was about to start to work out the figures in the painting when my teacher shouted to hold...According to his vision, the painting is finished and he didn't believe the painting would get any better by working out the figures...
He found the image is more interesting in case the figures are not worked out any further (from a artistic, paintific/paintical (I don't know the exact english expression) point of view)... Anyway, I wasn't so sure about it and we agreed to do an experiment: a second painting of this theme is made in which the figures are worked out the way I wanted them to be. So 2 versions of my original idea are made. 1st version, see [link] My teacher definitely sticks to the first one, while this version got closer to the idea I had about the painting... |
